Location: Main Shop, Watsonville, California

CABINET ENGINEER

We are seeking a key member of our team: an experienced cabinet engineer to design and oversee fabrication of custom woodworking projects for luxury residences. Must have over 5 years experience and working knowledge of Autocad, CabinetVision, Excel, CNC, and managerial experience.

REQUIREMENTS: Strong verbal and written skills; ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, technical specifications, and scope sheet; practical experience in woodworking and cabinet design; drafting and layout of cabinet projects. You will be interfacing with the design teams, suppliers, production and office staff. You will be reporting directly to the CEO.

DUTIES: Prepare takeoffs from architectural plans for millwork and casework; Review architectural plans for specialty materials and sub-contract items to be priced produce a working set of shop drawings; work closely with production manager and foreman to convey information about job; order and keep track of specialty and sub-contract items.
